The Dumalag Water District joins the nation and the world in the observance of World Water Day 2017.  This day is held annually on March 22 as a means of focusing the attention of the importance of fresh water and advocating for the sustainable management of fresh water resources. Each year, World Water Day highlights a specific aspect of fresh waters.

This year’s theme is “Water and Wastewater”. It aims to highlight the symbiosis between water and wastewater in the quest for sustainable development. The Dumalag Water District is showing support to this activity through hanging the streamer for the whole month of March 2017 and cleaning some of the areas of one of the water resources of the DWD.
